The Body (Intimity)
Kojetská, Monika ; Pepe, Dita (referee) ; Hlavenka, Tomáš (advisor)
With this set I am following my previous work in which I was occupying with woman body. I catch body in intimate moments – but I encode it, so it is almost not obvious. I use light irony and exaggeration in my pictures. In this set I work with woman body as a object of voyer, who observes the woman with a peephole, lense, field glass or camera. But I keep it all in abstract and stylized position. I work with code, thanks to which we at first perceive the picture as colourful and shaped painting forms that gradually show womans body. I use bigger ammount of abstract, when forms of the body balance at the edge between figural and abstract. I enjoy the moment when there is not everything visible at the first sight in the picture. I want the viewer to look for the body, observe it and explore it. I do not aim for catching the beauty of the body or is real visual shape. I work with light irony of voyeur looks by using some deformations of the body parts.

Analysis of Mechanical Stress during Short Circuit in an Air-Insulated MV Switchgear
Bártů, Jan ; Bajánek, Tomáš (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This Master thesis is based on problems of force effects of the magnetic field of short-circuit current. Firstly, I analysed the force action of the three phase busbars during the three-pole short circuit. The analysis was performed in the Ansys Maxwell program and I verified the correctness of the analysis by numerical calculation. The second practical part was executed for ABB company. The main task was to analyse the force effects of the short-circuit current in the HV switchgear with focusing on the arms and contact system of the circuit breaker. The simulations of the following configurations were performed in more details: three configurations of the simplified VD4 circuit breaker, two types of VD4 circuit-breaker contact systems and a linear circuit breaker configuration model. The objective was to calculate the forces acting on the current path of the arms and contact system of the VD4 circuit breaker during the three-phase short-circuit and to simulate the effects of forces on these current parts. For modelling of individual assemblies, calculations and simulations I used: SolidWorks 2014, Ansys Maxwell 16.0 and Ansys Workbench 14.5 programs. With SolidWorks 2014 3D CAD software were modelled simplified assemblies of circuit breakers and contact systems. These systems were imported into the Ansys Maxwell software, where the force effects of the magnetic field of the short-circuit current were calculated. In Ansys Workbench programme was simulated the effect of forces on the current circuit breakers. Moreover, the final deformations of the materials (with respect to the mechanical properties of the structure) were plotted. The analysis of force effects of the magnetic field was performed for the specified static short - circuit current value.
Stress-strain analysis of a crane arm
Mora, Lukáš ; Halabuk, Dávid (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The content of this bachelor’s work is a summarization of types of tower cranes and subsequent stress-strain analysis of the crane arm of the crane type 150EC-B8 Litronic located on the Šumavská street in Brno. Analytical stress-strain analysis is calculated with equations of equilibrium using joint method in various types of loading of the construction with MAPLE software. Numerical calculation is executed on 3D model of the construction in software ANSYS. The aim of this bachelor work is the verification of the correctness and comparison results of analytic calculation with numeric calculation and evaluation of the results from a limit states and deformation standpoint.
Scene Analysis Based on the 2D Images
Hejtmánek, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with an object surface analysis in a simple scene represented by two-dimensional raster image. It summarizes the most common methods used within this branch of information technology and explains both their advantages and drawbacks. It introduces the design of an surface profile analysis algorithm based on the lighting analysis using knowledge and experiences from previous work. It contains a detailed description of the implemented algorithm and discusses the experimental results. It also brings up options for the possible enhancement of the projected algorithm.
Evaluation of the remedial works in railway embankment
Vašina, Adam ; Závacký, Martin (referee) ; Štefaňák, Jan (advisor)
Project „Kolejové úpravy v žst. Žďár nad Sázavou“ contains remedial works of inconvenient railway embankment between Brno-Havlíčkův Brod. This document is about appraisal of remedial works in software Plaxis 2D and with summary of basic remedial works in railways in Czech Republic.
Deformation of tool steels after quenching in vacuum furnaces
Abu Khait, Yosef ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Pacal, Bohumil (advisor)
In this thesis, the deformation stages, which take place in tool steels after quenching in vacuum furnaces, were studied. This study was focused on the heating and cooling conditions during this type of quenching. In the experimental part, the deformation changes in particular samples made of tool steel after vacuum quenching were analyzed. Minor changes in the volume of samples at higher quenching temperatures compared to lower temperatures were observed.
Stretch metal
Dostál, Jan ; Pangrácová, Lucie (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Controlled deformation. Under with conditions can the iron deformation process be affected? This work is focused on expanding steel profiles. Using various tests, I will confront the visual results with the technical possibilities of the material. Attempting to find a boundary that is still permissible in terms of maximum steel loading just before the material starts to fail. The resulting installation should show the enormous forces needed to distort the material, where the viewer will be directly confront with the process.
Strain, stress and strength analysis of the frame construction.
Kysilko, Vít ; Damborský, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is intent on the computation of a plane frame which is used for test the resistance of composite tubes to a changing pressure. As a computational model I used simplified frame loaded by solitary forces which work eccentrically from the axis of symmetry of the frame. Because I cannot exactly use the theory of simple elasticity and strength in this task I make two calculations with various shapes of midline. This is twice internally statically indeterminate task, appropriate deformation conditions were solved by Castigliano’s theorem. Bending stress is dominant but in calculation is also composed energy of normal and displacement forces. Inspection of cyclic fatigue was made in possible hazardous places. Analytic calculation was carried out in MAPLE 12 and it was compared with Finite Element Method analysis with Ansys Workbech 12 software.
Optimization of parameters of dynamic relaxation in solving plastic limit states of structures
Poláček, Milan ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to create an analytical model of frame construction. Determining load at which individual plastic hinges are formed until the collapse of the structure. The analysis is going to be performed by RFEM with an additional module RFDYNAM. Subsequently, the parameters of dynamic relaxation is going to be optimized to specify and speed up the calculations. Finally, the optimized parameters is going to be used to analyze the storeyed frame construction formed Ing. Jan Vales including a comparison of findings.
